Overview

Welcome to Cartsaver! This guide will walk you through installing and setting up Cartsaver on your Shopify store. In just 3 minutes, you’ll be ready to verify COD orders and reduce fake orders by up to 95%.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

• ✅ An active Shopify store
• ✅ Admin access to your Shopify store
• ✅ A business operating in Egypt
• ✅ Egyptian phone numbers for your customers (Vodafone, Orange, Etisalat, WE)

Note: Cartsaver is specifically designed for Egyptian e-commerce stores and supports all major Egyptian mobile carriers.

Step 1: Install Cartsaver from Shopify App Store

1.1 Find the App

1. Log in to your Shopify Admin Panel
2. Navigate to Apps in the left sidebar
3. Click on Shopify App Store at the bottom
4. Search for “Cartsaver” in the search bar
5. Click on the Cartsaver app from the results

1.2 Install the App

1. Click the “Add app” button
2. Review the permissions requested by Cartsaver
3. Click “Install app” to confirm

Why these permissions? Cartsaver needs to access your orders to send OTP verification messages and update order status based on customer responses.

Step 2: Initial Configuration Wizard

After installation, you’ll be redirected to the Cartsaver dashboard. The setup wizard will guide you through the essential configuration.

2.1 Welcome Screen

You’ll see a welcome screen introducing Cartsaver’s key features. Click “Get Started” to begin setup.

2.2 Choose Your Verification Channels

Select which notification channels you want to use for OTP verification:

💡 Tip: We recommend enabling SMS as your primary channel and WhatsApp as a backup for the best delivery rates in Egypt.
